RE: staining of mouse osteoclasts

From:MontagueDonnaC@uams.edu

We use anti-RANK antibodies from R&D systems. Also, we have stained the
tartrate-resistant acis phosphatase enzyme using pararosaniline in acetate
buffer. the receipe is in the histonet archives. If you have difficulty
getting to it let me know and I'll email you a copy of the protocol.Good
luck, Donna Montague, M.S.

Subject: staining of mouse osteoclasts

Hello Histonetters,
would anybody have a technique for staining osteoclasts in mouse
bones, demineralized and paraffin embedded? A source of an antibody
(calcitonin receptor, RANK ??) would be appreciated, or any other
suggestions.
	Thanks a lot,
