We use the Shurmark system and have for about 6 years now. we currently use
custom made colormark slides ( the backed ones) purchased from Allegiance
and made by Erie. Our slides have our hospital name, city and state printed
on them below the etching area. this gives us more room to etch stuff on the
slide or to use the large font. Having our info preprinted on the slide
assures us that when we send slides out, the other party knows where to
return them to.( although we don't send out original slides, only recuts
unless necessary)

Yes they are very expensive but we were having to label all send out slides
with paper labels and as you know this takes time we don't really have.

BTW I was once told that Erie makes all the slides in this country and sells
them to other vendors.
Allegiance keeps our slides in stock here in Atlanta.

Erie was very helpful when we ran into a problem a two years ago and our
slides would not print. they drop shipped us cases of slides to make up for
it until they  solved the problem. We ended up with slides of every color
they make I think.
