HISTOLOGY TECHNICIAN
QUALIFICATIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and/or HT, HTL or eligible
licensure. Advanced histological staining skills (Routine and Special) Fixed
and frozen tissue sectioning; tissue fixation/processing; microtomy;
experience with automated staining systems; 4 years of histology experience;
A Bachelor's of Science in a life science major is a definite plus.
Responsibilities will include preparing controls, preparing tissue samples,
including; embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping. You will also be
responsible for the daily preparation of reagents and solutions. Additional
responsibilities will include and not be limited to daily, monthly, and
quarterly QC reports. 
Laboratory maintenance duties will include instrument calibrations, routine
preventative maintenance, and general laboratory maintenance on our state of
the art equipment. 
PC skills to include an understanding of MicroSoft Windows and an ability to
use MSWord and MSExcel. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong
organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely
manner are essential.

IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY TECHNICIAN
QUALIFICATIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and/or MT, HT, HTL license. 4
years experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC), paraffin sectioning, and
excellent routine histology skills. 

Responsibilities will include preparing controls, preparing tissue samples,
preparing and troubleshooting new and existing assays, understanding and
applying antigen retrieval techniques and daily preparation of reagents and
solutions. Additional responsibilities will include and not be limited to
daily, monthly, and quarterly QC reports. 
Laboratory maintenance duties will include instrument calibrations, routine
preventative maintenance, and general laboratory maintenance on state of the
art equipment.
