Enough! vendors and job recruitment

From:Gayle Callis <uvsgc@montana.edu>

Ye gads, actually into this fray. ENOUGH, ALREADY!! At this point I would
rather get any email, delete, than have tons of messages belaboring the
point, some presented diplomatically, others less so.

You can't validate/put things on time schedules/avoid email you don't want!
This is a burden Histonet operators, gurus would hate. They can't
micromanage everything, and neither can subscribers.

Suggestions for recruiters, IF I were looking for a job and saw job posting
email. I want to see in these (thankfully) brief messages:

Subject line: recruiting job postions

Geographical location in country(ies), organized South, North, East, West,
NW, SW, SE, etc.
Research or clinical

The bonus would be a salary range so it reads

West

MT, Research ($500,000 - $1,000,000)
NV Clinical ($25K - 30K)

The KEY WORD for job recruiters is fill in subject line with the word
recruiting somewhere.

DELETE if not interested, my button is wearing out, I was in the negative
group initially but decided to live on positive groups side, deleting away
without reading. MY CHOICE!

As for vendors, they do a good job, many monitoring Histonet, then going
one on one with potential customer to avoid "hissing matches". They have
taken their bashings already, and although blatant advertising is
discouraged (I had one today on glass slides from China. "Delete" BEEP!).

We ARE fair game IF we ask a question, then vendors reply to Histonet with
what they have, graciously/informatively.

Now, I'm ready for a head hunter to come after me, never happened, but I am
ever hopeful - still looking for big bucks after 30 plus years in this
business.

Now to my microtome -
