Dear List:

A colleague needs advice on sectioning fruit fly legs for light
microscopy. Frozen sections perfered but paraffin is acceptable. There
is a lot of chitin and little soft tissue. Is a knife with a special
edge called for? Harder than normal wax? Colder than normal cutting temp
for frozens? All suggestions are welcomed!

TIA,
Geoff
