Try mouse (clone 2e9, cat # K86409M) or rabbit (cat # B59136R) anti-beta
Galactosidase (E.coli) from  Biodesign International (www.biodesign.com,
207-985-1944).  I strongly recommend a good positive control (preferably your
transfected tumor cells).  If you do not get staining in your brain samples,  try
using an amplification system (Dako CSA or NEN tyramide).
