Hi, We use Diff-quik stain by Dako?  I think that's the manufacturer.  We
dip the FNA smears 100 quik dips in the fisative, then 100 quick dips in
Solution #1, then 120 quick dips in Solution #2, rinse off the excess
stain in distilled water and let air dry then coverslip.  You will have
to adjust your staining times according to your pathologists preference. 
There are also instructions included in each Diff-quik stain set.
