I don't really understand what the per paid hour means. In my lab, I work
full time and have another person who works 20 a week. The ususal amount
of slides we do in a month is about 2000 slides. Most are H&Es but we do
some special stains. All of our staining and coverslipping are done by
hand. Then we label slides and deliver them to various labs across our
large medical center but we ask some investigators to come and pick them up
from us. Otherwise, we would be out of the lab a lot. This sounds like a
lot for only 1 1/2 people compared to what some other labs are doing. I do
all the ordering and monthly charges also. Are we as overworked as it
sounds??
