Dear Roger;
We picked up on your RCM problem via the HistoNet.
I checked our records, and there is no evidence of your having placed a call
with our service department to try and resolve your problem.
So, to get back to square one, I must request once more, that if you have a
problem with an instrument, the first course of action should be to get back
to the manufacturer, or in this case, Distributor, Hacker Instruments Inc @
1-800-4-HACKER.
Second, we could not find a record of your instruments.
BI Pharmaceuticals is not in our data base. What does it stand for. If we
have your full company name and/or instrument serial numbers, we could do a
much better job of assessing their condition. Did you buy them from H/I? If
so, it appears that the warranty user card was not returned to us, or if it
was, not under the name of "BI Pharmaceuticals."
There are any number of measures to be taken to resolve air bubble problems,
depending on the cause. When were the instruments last PM'ed? They may need
an overhaul, among other things.
We would really like to help you, so please provide us with some contact
information and/or call us. FYI: life span for capital equipment is generally
8 years, but most RCM's exceed that number. Needless to say, a number of
newer version instruments have been released since 1990. However, there is no
reason why your RCM's shouldn't be fully functional with the proper
maintenance.
Again, please contact us, or provide contact information so we can resolve
this.
Sincerely,
Elfi Hacker
