Thanks so much for all the quick responses to my question about cork. I just
came back from vacation and was pleasantly surprised with all the great
responses!! I will certainly check into several of these options. My
question now is: Do you think it is better to pin tissue to a material that
absorbs formalin so that the underside of the tissue is also exposed to the
fixative? Or does it not matter? Many of you seem to use styrofoam and I
was wondering if the tissue is fixed as well on the underside, where the
tissue comes in contact with the styrofoam? Thanks for the great responses!!!
