Sorry about the signers whp were captured by the British as
traitors, tortured and killed.
That's the sort of colonising cross "we" have to bear.
Hard when you try to judge yesterday's actions by today's
standards and civilised mores.
p.s. Have you noticed any significance about when we are refered
to as "British" and when reference is made to "English"?
Whatever, I sincerely hope you all have a great 4 July and congrats
on what you have achieved.
