The Mineral oil I use is "white, light", is also known as "paraffin oil" or
"liquid petrolatum"; sp g = 0.840; viscosity (centistokes at 40 C) = 32.9
cs. Order from Fisher or any lab supply distributor.

I don't know if the spcifics on the mineral oil from the journal article
has been determined, but I'm passing along the info on the stuff I use.
I've have great success with it on plant tissues.
