Renee and Histonetters,
I have just read Renee's message. I think the message from Retired
Guy is just fine! I am sorry that he and all there have had to go through
this ordeal. I hope none of us every have to go through it.
As for "clouding good judgement... and celebrate our rights and
freedom", Renee aren't you taking peoples rights and freedom away by passing
judgement on how we are to make donations? If the family has pick these
places to make donations in Dr. Haggitt's memory, no one has the right to
take any out because of their likes/dislikes or agreement/disagreement with
thoses chosen. To me, to bring up "this is a forum for histology related
queries" is inappropriate at someone's death.
If my words seem strong, they are meant to be. I would not have liked it
if someone had made that decision for my family at my sister's death.
     Sincerely,
     Gail Macke---Cincinnati, Ohio
