Neralie,
Ther are a number of good substrates that I have used with
peroxidase IHC. I personally prefer DAB, homemade or store bought from many
sources. Vector has a substrate called VIP which is quite nice, also Vector
red [ I have little experience with this] and KPL has a substrate called
true blue.
