I buy metanil yellow from Aldrich (1-800-558-9160), P.O. Box 2060,
Milwaukee, WI 53201.
N.B. You have to dissolve it in acid alcohol for most (all?) staining
procedures.  Also note that it is more poisonous than most other dyes.
