Dear Histonetters,

Good morning. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but thought this would be
the best way to let people know about this:

Apparently, last Wednesday evening Jerry Schuk (not sure of correct
spelling sorry) the Fisher representative in Iowa and am not sure what
other states was in a car accident. He went into surgery Thursday and they
thought he would be OK, however, he died on Friday. Those are the only
details I have received so far. I will let everyone else know if I hear of
any further information concerning the funeral and a memorial.

I am told he was from Bettendorf Iowa and had three children.

This will be a great loss as Jerry always took good care of the University
when he was in this territory. He will be missed.
