My P.I. is interested in trying immunohistochemistry on tissue that has
been prepared for EM, even tissue that is already embedded in plastic or
resin or whatever.  I have never done EM, nor worked with (ie. cut) tissue
in plastic.  Could someone suggest some references or a protocol for doing
immuno on tissue such as this?  I got the references about antigen
retrieval in EM tissue that were recently posted on the Histonet, but I
need basic methods, and how they differ from regular immuno. Thanks in
