I think the issue with cyclin D1 detection may center more on fixation and processing than with antibodies and detection systems.  I have seen three cases (all from other institutions/ all mantle cell lymphomas) that have shown magnificent cyclin D1 immunoreactivity in my laboratory (significantly better than my positive control tissues).  I don't know if these three laboratories have a common denominator in terms of fixation and processing, but I will try to find out.
