Dear Noreen: You might want to contact the workshop presenters directly
and ask for a copy of the particular handout. Mr. Speranza's email
address is dellav@musc.edu. I have a copy but the material is
copyrighted and rightly so and cannot be re-printed without the author's
permission. I attended the workshop at Rhode Island and found it to be
most valuable. I don't use all of Vinnie's interview questions for all
of our candidates but each workplace can certainly tailor their
interview for the type of work and individual desired. Here in
California it's safe to say we get an extremely diversified ethnic and
cultural pool of workers with all manners of immigration status from
foreign student through to US citizens. My only criticism of the Gut
Feeling workshop was that it didn't address issues of hiring foreign
employees. Otherwise it was a most informative workshop and certainly
helped our company in designing our candidate interviews. I would
encourage everyone who can to attend the workshop in Milwaukee.
Regards, Tom
