Histonetters,

I would like to hear your thoughts about Dako IHC stainer and
the Ventana Nexus (Nexus only please) Please no bashing :(

Interested in information regarding reagent usage on Dako, ie; do u always
use 200 on the slides or do u use more? How did your manual costs compare
with either instrument. Prep time? Consistency of staining? What are the
positives, the negatives after having it for awhile? Run length, were u
able to alter your workflow for improvements? How many instruments do you
have? Come upon any hidden costs above the qoute prior to purchase on
either instrument after installation? Has productivity improved? In what
way? Ease of conversion from manual to automation? Just some questions to
get your juices flowing. I'm sure there are more.

Please feel free to respond privately.

Thanks for your valuable help.

Don
