I know similar requests have been made but our area director has requested
that we do some bench marking as regards to number of cases done in a
month, average number of blocks in a day, number of techs, pathologists and
transcriptionists/secretaries.

We are real small and so we do it all.  Non-gyn cytologies are included in
our case load (cell block, prep time, smears and special stains.  Bone
marrows are collected in hemo but then they are ours.  We are secretary and
transcriptionist also.  We need more help and would like your input.
