Annie,

The reference for Miller's elastic stain is:

Miller P.J. Medical Laboratory Technology: 1971, Vol 28: pp148-149.

Shelf life; at least six months: storage; room temperature. However, in
the UK our climate is not as hot than Joburg (unfortunately), so you may
want to keep it in the refrigerator. As for special handling instructions
etc., none that I am aware of, (although the solution is alcoholic) other
than unsrewing the cap!
Hope this is of help.

Hello to all those old friends

I have a request for some detailed information on Miller's Elastic Stain
(aka Victoria Blue)
I have the recipe and all the correct dye CI's - what I need to know are
things like : Shelf life, storage instructions, special handling
instructions etc.

I would also love to have the original article (journal??) to peruse.

Please would one of the fundis (Russ Allison, are you there???) reply to
this 'cry for help' from deep, deep Africa!!!
