JB4 is a glycol methacrylate, and water soluble. It is not designed
to be used for grinding and polishing, water softens it. Poly-methyl
methacrylate is a plastic of choice for sawing, grinding and polishing.

I would be very leary of polishing JB4 with any water around, you can
become sensitized to the plastic if any of the gunk touches your skin
or you breathe it.

Look for a PMMA method, I have a handout from a poster using PMMA, stent
work, ground and polished sections, very elegant project.
