Only if the nylon is not soluble in the solvents used to do
PMMA processing. It is always a good idea to test
your implants (other than metal!) for solubility in EACH solvent, including
mononer, utilized in a PMMA procedure. Get a piece and test it with time
as a factor. If the bone is large, and takes longer processing, test
a piece for a longer time. Linda Jenkins has done this, could give
more guidelines.
