....I have not researched this topic yet....just throwing this out....we have a situation where our formalin PEL are within exposure limitations for 8hr and STEL in our grossing area...however, we have an employee who suffers from severe asthma.  About 4 times/yr he develops a pneumonia and misses work for 6-8 days or so.  My question is should we be providing him additional protection even though we are within established PEL's?
