AW: [Histonet] Specimen transport

From:"Gudrun Lang"

Yes, we do so for our frozens. The system is established in the hospital,
with some "ports". I don't know the technical background.
If you want to send something, you have to dial the right number of the
destination, set the "bomb" in the system and "wush"....

It works fine with all tissue, that is small enough to fit in the container.
The tissue is in plastic bags and I have never seen tissuefluids leaking
out.

Betreff: [Histonet] Specimen transport

Is anyone transporting surgical and/or cytology specimens (fresh, for
frozen, containing formalin) in a pneumatic tube system? If so, how is
it working? What did you do to put it in place i.e. test runs, etc??
Thanks
