My lab recently bought a Leica VT1000S vibrating microtome and as I was unhappy with the saphire blade that the model was offered with, we have been circulating through numerous brands of disposable metal blades.  Does anyone have a suggestion regarding disposable blades for cutting fixed and live brain tissue?  Thx in advance.
