I've been a Mohs tech and histotech for many years and have set up path  labs 
in physicians offices.  For me, the gold standard is the VIP processor  and 
the Leica cryostats.  The only company I've ever dealt with for these  
instruments is Belair Scientific, out of New Jersey.  They also just happen  to have 
the exclusive rights to sell the Leica 1510S Cryostat...an absolute gem  of an 
instrument.  They also sell refurbished/reconditioned equipment...the  VIP 
being one of them and to my knowledge, the only company that gives a full  one 
year warranty on every instrument they sell.  Call them, I think you'll  find 
them to be a pleasure to deal with.
