RE: [Histonet] contamination/molds

From:"Sue Barnes"

We place the molds on the embedding chamber lid until they warm, so that the moisture doesn't get in the xylene, We place them in a container of xylene for the day, In the afternoon we place the molds in a basin of Dawn dish liquid and hot water, this displaces the xylene. Rinse the molds in clear water and leave on the counter to dry.
It has worked for years.
