In our lab at PathGroup, the day shift takes turns to do Saturdays.  In our case we only need one person, because don't do any special stains or IHC.  We basically just cut and get slides ready to be done early Monday moring.  But, the person who is scheduled to work on a Saturday gets the previous Monday (so that the time works).
