As a novice on this field, I hope to be able to get an answer from skilled
people on this (probably basic) question :

Does an "ideal" staining for Parathyroid glands exist? I have read in an
article that JB-4 resin embedded parathyroids can be sectioned and stained
with basic fuchsin and methylene blue. Can anyone explain to me why one
might want to choose this stain? I would like to obtain a quantification
for total gland volume, an average for secretory cell volume and possibly a
total cell number from my slides.
