Dear Jacquie,
      You should ask your maintenence department to build a small metal rack to hold the carboy. One can be made with the rack movable, so it can be loaded near 
floor level, and then elevated in place by a hand crank. The mechanism would be similar to that used on a floor style drill press. Once the rack is in position, the crank 
can be locked with a pin. The cost of materials varies, so I cannot give you any materials pricing. I don't think it will be much, though. For my home shop, I have often 
built equipment I need for far less than what a company may charge for a finished product. One hint: I buy my steel from the scrap bin of a mill supplier, and this saves 
on the additional cost of having the material cut for me.
