That's usually the way it goes. The lab coats shouldn't go home with the 
techs to avoid contaminating their household with whatever they take out of 
the lab. The coats should also not be worn outside the lab. They should have 
at least one for in the lab and then change into anther to go outside the lab 
or wear their street clothes outside the lab,
