Re: Quick clarification for Ulex europaeus

From:Jackie.O'Connor@abbott.com

I do extensive CD31 staining for microvessel density on zinc fixed (Streck Tissue fixative) paraffin sections.
I use Pharmingen's CD31 primary #553370 at 1:100, with an overnight incubation at 4C.
The staining is beautiful.  I will forward my procedure if you are interested.

To all of you who responded to my ulex post,  just wanted to clarify why switching to the ulex. Using mouse w/cell line model

CD31 fixation/processing not adequate, could not  get labeling after several different ab's and lots of experimentation
CD34 couldn't get labeling in the small neo-vessels
Fac8 in our model,  way to much background. impossible to read
SMA works great but not supported by literature as a method for MVD

TIA
Luis
