True, what you said, BUT for labelling purposes, paraformaldehyde or PFA on
a label indicates to me and my coworkers that this fixative was made from
the POWDER.  It would be total disaster if I labelled otherwise, because
without a doubt, they would grab 37% formalin aka formaldehyde to replace
anything labelled 4% formalin if it was MADE from paraformaldehyde and
labelled according to your comments.  So we will stick with 4% PFA and 4%
NBF distinctions, proper or not.
