About the IHC textbook:
I totally agree with John this is a very complete and excellent book. 
However, to my knowledge the 2nd edition is sold out. Susan Van Noorden is 
working on (or even may be finished) with the 3rd edition of the book 
John  mentioned. Perhaps the book is not available as yet.
