RE: CD146
Research Diagnostics Inc offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one
antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization,
blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of
antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications
or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro
research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in
diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without
notice.

DATA SHEET: mouse anti-human CD146 (S-ENDO1)
Catalog#: RDI-CD146-SENDO $475.00/vial 200 tests in 2ml
Also available FITC labeled: cat#RDI-CD146-SFT $475.00/100T in 1ml
Species: mouse IgG1
CLONE: S-Endo1 (also designated F4-35H7)
Immunogen:Human umbilical cord endothelial cells (HUVEC)
Fusion Partner:X63Ag8/653
Package: in PBS with 0.1% BSA and <0.1% sodium azide
Activity: Reacts with human CD146 , tested at VIth Workshop (code E057,
clone name F4-35117). Postive reactivity with Muc18 transfectants (Flow
cytometry, MUC 18 FC Protein (Elisa), Endothelial cells (HUVECS, HDMEC,
Eahy, SKMEL28 & SBC12. Group I (more than 300K sites per HUVEC). Mapped at
domain 3.
-using an indirect immunoperoxidase assay performed in microtiter plates,
S-ENDO-1 binds to cultured HUVEC but not to platelets
-using an immunoperoxidase staining on frozen tissue sections, S-ENDO1
demonstrates in all tissues tested a strong reactivity to vascular
endothelium
-Analysed by an indirect immunostaining method on bone marrow cells, the
S-ENDO1 related antigen was absent
-Analyzed on blood cells, using flow cytometry, S-ENDO1 does not bind to
leucocytes, nor red cells or platelets
Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining , ELISA and
histochemistry (purified format, frozen sections only-not paraffin) Titer
for each application
-detection of endothelial cells in whole blood

Subject: CD146
I attended an angiogenesis workshop at the NSH meeting in Long Beach, CA and
someone mentioned staining with CD146 (p1H12). Has anybody have experience
with this antibody, have a vendor, or any additional information?
Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Adriana
