cytospin storage
Hi everyone. We have some questions in our lab regarding the storage of
cytospin slides (of bone marrow monocytes). We air dry our slides for 24 hrs,
then store them at -80 degrees in slide boxes. We have not been using
dessacents, nor have we fixed the slides before storage. Could either of
these procedures pose serious problems? If so, is there any way of correcting
them? Recently, as we have started retrieving our slides for staining and
analysis, the pathologists have informed us that they are not happy with the
morphology of our cells.
Thanks,
