we supply the entire hospital and outside clinics with formalin.   It works
to histo's benefit:
1)  Its easier to tell them to be generous with the quanitites that they
use
2)  We know the exact formalin that they are using (NBF vs Zinc vs ?)
3)  We recycle formalin and return it to surgery; this becomes a good cost
saving measure.
4)  larger quantities used generally mean lower costs.

OK- Here's a question for those of you in a clinical setting. Do you supply
surgery with formalin or is surgery responsible for buying their own stock
of formalin?
