when i worked at st alexius med center the union appeared at the hosp. the management went berserk. the spies identified everyone who talked to them, they were all called into offices and threatened with dismissal. everyone who actually joined was indeed fired. then the union disappeared. it appears that hosp management will do anything to prevent unions from entering a hosp

The unions are alive and well, the technical group at our hospital just voted the union in (Food Workers Union) and they are now courting the support staff and the private pathology lab. Can't give you an idea yet if it's a good or bad thing... There are pros and cons to it all the way around.
