Dear April,

It seems that your microtome chamber temperature is too warm try minus 28 degrees C, all your troubles will be over.

Hi,
I work in a Histology Core Facility at Cornell Medical School as a technician.  I have been asked to freeze and section wounded mouse skin.  The pieces are 1inch x 0.5 inches.  There have been problems with the tissue ripping away from the Tissue Tek when I try to section it.  The skin is so soft that it also seem to fold on itself while freezing.  Does anyone have suggestions for frozen sectioning of skin?

I appreciate any insight you may have
Thanks
April
