I am a histology student, and would like help with a problem we are having. Tissue is turning out overly hard and we are having difficulty in sectioning it. The tissue has been fixed in formalin, and run on a routine overnight processor with a closed system. The tissue is Paraplast embedded, and cut on a rotary microtome. Any suggestions to either prevent or deal with the hard sections? Thanks in advance!!
