Histology position
St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas has an opening
for an experienced Histology Technician to work on the night shift. The
position is currently 1200 (midnight) to 600 AM (6 hours), but some adjustment
is possible. This is a permanent part-time position which could possibly
become fulltime. There is of course a good shift differential added
to salary for night shift.
We are a large volume Histology laboratory with
around 350 - 450 blocks per day and the expectation of the
pathologists is that all of their H & E slides will be ready for them when
they come into work in the morning. Therefore the night shift is busy but many
of the distractions of the day are not present.
If you would be interested in this position please contact either
Sellestine Ratliff, Histology supervisor at 832-355-6152 or me by either return
email or phone 832-355-2643.
John Ryan, HT(ASCP)HTL
Assistant Administrative Director Pathology
