Hi netters,
Once again I must turn to you for advice. Pathologist has requested a stain 
to differentiate between types AL and AA amyloid. He mentioned using 
potassium permanganate. Does anyone use this technique and would you be 
willing to share with me? I currently use the alkaline Congo Red procedure.
