I'll bet the ASCP has written about this, but one of my Pathologists asked me how many blocks per hour are cut in our lab. Reluctant to push my staff, I told him I'd "get back to him". Is there a guideline we could use? I will time my staff tomorrow, but what is "too much" work? Cytologists are limited as to how much they can do. Do we in Histo have anything like that?
