We also use those pens from Securline  but good ol' fashion pencils also do the trick for labeling cassettes and slides with frosted ends.  And, best of all, they're cheap!

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations for markers that are xylene and alcohol
resistant to label cassettes/ slides?  We currently use Marker II/
Superfrost black markers from Securline.  We have a real problem with the
ink coming off of the slide while doing immunohistochemistry.
