We have the same model coverslipper and have had it for several years. We
had the same problem you have and tried everything suggested. Nothing
helped long term. I finally got fed up with the machine and stressed out
over the pathologists complaints and the machine is now a dust collector on
my shelf.
What kind of coverglass do you use? I have heard, although I haven't tried
them, coverglass from Mercedes Medical that is manufactured in Germany are
supposed to help with that particular problem.
