RE: Re: educatedhisto

Firstly i'm not jf from so-cal but I must disagree with you. Also my credentials can't compare with yours being a BA HT/HTL, nevertheless I have spent about 6 years training ht's after work

i'm on number 17 now. I must say that some of my best students were the noncollege educated,
without an AS BA or BS. Having a college degree does not mean that you are intelligent or even that you can think clearly. For some people this is true but really some of the dumbest people I know are highly college educated and some of the smartest people I've have known were on the job trained high school graduates. I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to teach some of these people histology and find them jobs in histology , and each and every one is a credit to the field.

Shall we stop trying to degrade those in our field that do excellent work and have learned  histology by nontraditional/noncollege routes. rather these excellent individuals who have had the initiative and drive to teach themselves or seek out noncollege routes to excellence and have succeded in achieving ht ce
