You can use M30 CytoDEATH kit from Roche this is a monoclonal antibody
(clone M30) for the detection of a caspase cleavage product of cytokeratin
18. You can use it in formalin and paraffin embebbed tissue and is more
reproductible than TUNEL (a more classical way to detect apoptosis). Another
way is to employ a monoclonal antibody to ssDNA; ssDNA is an early event in
apoptosis and there are some antibodies to detect this DNA fragments; I
think Chemicon has an antibody.
