We have the Sakura film coverslipper and use the Klinipath brand film
for coverslipping.  If we need to remove the film coverslip, we first
place the slide in acetone and then in xylene.  Even after soaking in
xylene for 40 minutes, there is still a visible residue on the slide and
sometimes after re-coverslipping there is a white residue. How do others
remove the film?
